Increasingly retailers are pressurising their suppliers to conform to retail ready guidelines, thus ensuring their secondary packaging takes full advantage of the opportunity to capture the consumer’s attention. Initially manufacturers and suppliers were urged to convert to shelf ready designs that simply aided the transit to shelf process, thus improving on-shelf availability; however RRP has now moved into a new realm where brand image is also a critical consideration.
With consumer choice at an all time high influencing sales at the point of purchase has never been so fundamental to the success or failure of a product. This means high impact graphics are essential in generating eye fixations and creating a point of difference between packaging on shelf.
Norboard offers a range of boards which are specifically suitable for creating retail ready solutions.
High Quality Print
By using Norboard, it’s easy to achieve great print results through a variety of techniques as our coated boards are suitable for flexo, digital and direct litho print.
Structural Strength
From single through to double wall flute profiles, Norboard supplies board to suit its end requirements without over-specifying the solution. Each board offers superior strength when compared to its solid board equivalent, which may negate the need for a transit pack, thereby saving on material specification and time spent accessing the product to display it on-shelf.
Less Material
Even though Norboard products are stronger than their solid board counterparts they actually use up to 40% less material, which offers environmental benefits through minimising material usage. In addition, as the strength needed to effectively hold and display the products can be achieved through a thinner board, shelf space is optimised and more product can be displayed on-shelf.
