This product range is dedicated to the carton market. End-users within this market require a board that enables high quality graphic reproduction, while offering strength and reduced transit packaging.
Printers on the other-hand are looking for consistency in board quality, innovative products, short lead times, technical support and easy handling presentation.
As all Norboard Direct products are manufactured using high quality microflute boards, they offer certain advantages over the same calliper solid board. Microflutes are lighter, yet stronger than solid board, whilst still providing exceptional print quality; and using a microflute may even remove the need for transit packaging.
The Norboard Direct product range is available in flute profiles G and F, all of which can be directly litho printed, and are able to take high quality print without crushing or optical flute effect. The average calliper range for each flute is as follows:
G Flute: 900 - 1000 microns
F Flute: 1100 micron
In addition, our wide range of Specialist Liners enable us to create a product that is tailor-made to meet your needs and our technical advisors are on-hand to offer assistance in making the right choice.
